Yeah, but how long can you guys possibly talk about Girl Scout cookies? One or two pages tops. I'm just trying to help the conversation along.

Do the girl scouts actually make the cookies? Or are they from a shop? Just wondering about this American phenomenon....
Well I think they're made in factories but the Girl Scouts sell them for fundraising.

Just imagine how much more money they'd make if they'd just frickin' sell them in stores like normal cookie-makers do.

Ah ok, thx. No such thing over here...was wondering how everyone got the same cookies...I thought they made them to a girls scout recipe book or something.

Not exactly girl scout cookies (no such thing here) but a couple of neighbourhood girls came a long selling "Mammas Chokladbollar" to fund their school trip. They were delicious. http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/nahrung/a055.gif

Some little gals (well their parents who end up selling them anyway) got wise to selling them on Ebay.

I don't know about you guys but I've got some pesty God damn Girl Scouts living in my neighborhood. They'll step in front of you when you're trying to go grocery shopping and they don't take no for an answer. I already bought some of your f***ing cookies a week ago. Leave me alone. It's frustrating.

I love thin mints. Shortbreads are pretty good too.
i was eating the shortbread ones last night and the peanut butter ones that are covered in chocolate hince why i made that thread

When I hear "Girl Scout Cookies" I assume that means cookies made of Girl Scouts rather than cookies being sold by Girl Scouts. Does this mean in the States "chocolate chip cookies" are actually cookies being sold by chocolate chips rather than being made of them?
