hey yall its me just checking in letting you know im not dead, well i finally made it up to Jumpschool on main post after spending 30 some odd days on sandhill in Holdover waiting to ship up, so i got there and they said i was going to delta co, so we had the processing friday and they let all the priorities go and fill up the platoons, what was left was me and my other infantryman from sandhill, we are the bottom of the barrel so we didnt get to go start school we got pushed back again to hold. everyone else, water specialist , wheeled mecs , officers and other branches of service and some highspeed cooks got to go get jumpwings, hopefully i will be starting school next monday with Charlie Co. but who knows us infantryman might get pushed back again.
hope everyones doing alright, talk to you guys later!

Depending on what unit he's been assigned to as compared to what unit the cooks may have been assigned to makes a difference. If they're assigned to an Airborne unit, they may be required to get their wings. Or possibly, they've been waiting for a slot to cross change into another MOS. It happens.

Now you can listen to the C Co. CO's awesome football analogies. He cracked me up the whole time I was there. (last summer) Have fun at Airborne School, you get weekends off and that part of the post has decent facilities. Just don't get in too much trouble, all the guys coming off of sand hill acted like they had just gotten out of prison. Which they pretty much had, but still . . .
