I get noodles like that from the Asian market right down the street from me. Some of the best damn packaged noodles I have ever had. Only I have no idea who makes it as I dont read Chinese and the instructions are in some pretty bad engrish, plus they literally smell like sweaty ass when you cook them. But I swear they taste nothing like they smell, or if they do I really need to check out more sweaty ass - cause damn their good. Plus I add some Vietnamese garlic chili paste that I add to everything for a spicy kick. They come in beef and chicken, and the noodles are not fried so their low in fat.

Nah, that red Korean stuff's mild by itself. Take the black 20x stuff, dump in a fistfull of ground chinese chili seeds and oil, pour in several spoonfuls of x2 Habanero Tabasco and regular Tabasco fo' shizzle, and head on over to the neighborhood fire hydrant.

I just finished a flat pack of cup noodle from the Wonder bread quickie-thrifty mart, 'fine' college geek fuel. There's only a couple Asian markets here, but they got enough to get by on. They even have that abominable chikin stuff that tastes like feathers and feet.

Unfortunately none of the shops have raw ramen, which is a pain. If you've ever had good real ramen from raw ramen, that's some serious soup and noodles. Cha soba is also an abomination, but udon is good. Just don't ask what's in the broth. Pureed fish gut juice broth base don't taste so bad - as long as you don't know that's what it is.

So I boiled them for 3 minutes. While they were poiling I added some spinage, and frozen peas, then I added a good teaspoon of Huy Fong Sriracha Garlic Hot Sauce

Thats the same company that makes the excellent garlic chili sauce I love to add to my foods. That kind in your picture is pretty much the same, but it doesn't have the big pepper flakes I like.

you cant cook pasta in 3 minutes. But given the choice i'd take fresh pasta anyday. Ramen noodles are great but they got so much chemicals in the flavouring powder i get nosebleeds if i eat too often
