The beginning of the end in Iraq was sounded when US troops backed off from entering and destroying the Shrine of Ali Mosque in Najaf 04. Backing off in such a subservient motion only emboldens the likes of Moqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army. If the war in Iraq & Iran is to be won attitudes need to be changed from the top down and fast.
To those muslims who neither recognise or indeed oppose occupation should be told in no uncertain terms that "if you do not comply actions will flow". These actions should be tough and merciless. A lesson in humility is long overdue for the muslim.
This pathetic hearts and minds attitude so loved by poodle Blair is not just counter productive it is futile. Bush & Blair should imo look back on history and learn warfare mentality from those who understand the meaning of the word. War War not Jaw Jaw. The Dunkirk spirit is dead and Bomber Harris will be turning in his grave.
