We transfered all the photos on our server, so this will have more bandwith. I've been running out of 800MB in 4 hours, WOW

lots of hits.

Here are same photos from SOBR, + bonus ones (rare)
Some of the following rifles are prototypes by Genadi Nikonov (RIP), I dont know the exact protonumbers, so I can't answer you anything on them. I will be there this summer again, so Ill pay closer attention during shooting, and take more photos.

Enjoy

Wow, you're right, there are very rare and great photos (especially for some gun lover like me)!! Lot of thanks! :D

Both weapons below are the very first 5,56mm AN-94 assault rifle prototypes (naturally Nikonov's):

http://simondog.com/FSB/PIC00070.jpg
http://simondog.com/FSB/PIC00072.jpg
The first prototype called NA-2 (Prototype-1)

http://simondog.com/FSB/PIC00081.jpg
The second prototype called NA-4 (Prototype-2)

http://simondog.com/FSB/PIC0008qq4.jpg
Both the NA-2 (left) and the NA-4 (right)

http://simondog.com/FSB/PIC00037.jpg
And there is the ninth prototype ASM (MA-50) (left) and AN-94 (right)

Reminds me of the USMC Rules of Gunfighting,

"1.Bring a gun. Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns. "

I don't think that trigger discipline is enforced in Russia.
All of the guys on those pictures are mature adults and on top of that are highly trained professionals, so I would think that they know what they are doing.
Actually based on the people that I know and pictures I saw, "trigger discipline" is an alien concept to russians :)

Here is another Russian with no "trigger discipline" ;)

I don't see how being a mature adult or highly trained professional has anything to do with it...its a matter of safety and common sense. Even the most highly trained people can have a small twitch, and that could be enough. And I don't care if you know the guns are unloaded...

1st rule of firearms safety: All guns are loaded and should be treated as such

2nd rule of firearms safety: see rule 1

Its simple to do, everyone does it (even highly trained pofessional adults in almost every other armed service on the planet), I don't see why it wouldn't be enforced...

Actually, the 2nd rule of firearms safety is "keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire," but those are western rules.

The Russians know all about sympathetic reflex, etc. For reasons of their own, they don't stress about it. I wouldn't say it is wrong, just different. This could be because they have a higher tolerance for casualties or the number of casualties that occurred from this they deemed insignifigant. Regardless, they know all about it, but they don't seem to care.

Guy , really , you taking this finger in the trigger stuff too much seriously . That's not the thing that makes soldiers proffesional .

1st rule of fighting : The one who treates his weapon as a holly peace of metal , afraids of it , will got shot faster .
2nd rule of fighting : The fighting is primary breach of safety regulations , so safety training regulations don't exist .

There were some places i would not only put my finger in the trigger , but also would open the safety , while there is bullet inside the chamber .
This thing is more of a personal discipline . It's indeed part of weapon safety regulations, but on personal level if soldier knows that nothing will hapend , if he puts his finger in the trigger , not much problems in it (i mean , if he is shaking like crasy so he can pull the trigger by mistake , he shouldn't get weapon in first place ) . You just really overreacting on this matter . The weapon wouldn't start fire like crazy , if you put your finger inside the trigger house . For that , you have safety . And on trainings , if you feel it can help you to put your finger on trigger , why not ? If you totaly feel that you are in control of your weapon .
This safety regulation were made to fit the trainies , or really dumb soldiers .

The older OSN are:

7th OSN Rosich - Novocerkassk
8th OSN Rus - Moscow
12th OSN Ratnik - Nijni Tagil
15th OSN Viatich - Armavir
16th OSN Skif - Rostov
17th OSN - Mineralnie Vodi
19th OSN Ermak - Novosibirsk
20th OSN - Saratov
21th OSN Tayfun - Habarovsk
