Hispanics are the leading ethnic group in the USA that have the most medal of honors.
So I thought I would make a video of some of the heroes.

Thanks stormy :)
Thanks for the video. There'll likely be one more in their honorable company before too long.
Rest In Peace, Sgt. Peralta.

Thanks for the vid.A quick Google:
Latinos are the largest single ethnic group, in proportion to the number who served, to earn this prestigious award.link (http://64.233.179.104/search?q=cache:pUcb4pRcnhcJ:www.medalofhonor.com/recipients/hispanic.html+Hispanics+Medal+of+Honor&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2)

Most of them are Mexicans yes [half of them weren't even born in the US!]
They still fought bravely.
There are also Chileans,Peruvians,Puerto Ricans,Colombians etc etc
But all Americans.

I never knew that Hispanics won the most MOH's.
My grandfather won the Distinguished Service Cross (only subordinate to the MOH) in Vietnam. He was supposedly put in a good word for a MOH, but was denied and got the DSC.
Basically, he pulled a Forrest Gump and picked up two platoons worth of wounded and killed men to a clearing while under fire from an entire NVA regiment, complete with a PT-76, and himself having an AK round lodged in his abdomen and bad shrapnel wounds to the face. He refused to take the medivac back to the base and waited for airborne reinforcements to arrive and they subsequently routed the NVA out of the jungle village. Then on the chopper ride back to base, they again came under NVA ground fire, which killed both of the crew chiefs. He manned the M-60 drawing himself away from the treatment he was receiving until overcome by his massive bleeding and passed out. Then, the Huey was nicked by AA fire and shot down. On the ground, he managed to establish communication and call in an F-4 napalm run right before becoming swallowed by a NLF recon patrol, which surrounded the crash site and was closing in on the crash site. Before the strike arrived and being the only somewhat stable man on the ground, he held off 30 enemy soldiers with the helicopter's armament and then took a round to the leg. A Chinook landed before he died of bleeding and saved his life and 2 of the 6 with him.
If that doesn't deserve an MOH, nobody does.

Supershot, When you get old enough, buy your grandpa a beer for me and tell him "Bravo Zulu".

Haha, will do, but I'll have to subsitute it for a pack of Dr. Peppers. He was an alcoholic after 'Nam and now he's completely anti-alcohol, but he drinks Dr. Pepper like a fuggin monster.
"Bravo Zulu" = naval code for well done, correct?
