A while back, there was a thread of pics from the 2003 coup attempt in the Phillipines. I've been looking for a bit, and I can't find it. Does anyone have that thread, or those pics?

Those are the ones. Thanks a lot. That website describes those as custom-made LBEs, but they look an awful lot like BHI ISAAKs. Any thoughts on that?

From what I know, its made by a Philippine company called "Tactics" whose owner is also a member of the Philippine Military and was actually part of the group that attempted the coup. His LBEs are manufactured locally using designs adapted from BHI with input from the Phil Navy Swag, and get this, it's put together by a tailor who actually works or worked for BHI. The LBEs themselves are being used by PN SWAG, Phil Force Recon Marines and other special units. US units coming to the Philippines have seen the LBEs and apparently liked what they've seen and have also dropped by to buy. Pretty interesting dynamic going on...
