The normal preconcieved image one would have of Delta operators, are sort of he-men, with biceps the size of three trunks. These guys on the other hand look rather reticent compared to that preconception, almost like nerds somewhat out of place in uniform, and lean almost on the verge of being undernourished.
But guess one of the qualities perhaps looked for with such soldiers is the ability to pass off unnoticed or as relatively harmless soldiers (sort of a front that hides their capacity).

Perhaps not the best comment for 2 guys who paid the ultimate price though :roll:.

Gary Gordon looks like my battle buddy minus the mustache :|

My battle buddy in the picture lost his life in a hummer accident 3 years ago :(

Outnumbered and they knew when they request.

And knew that they could likely save the lives of the downed chopper survivors, and they did. Mike Durant remembers this with every breath he takes today.
