First off, if you read my postings then you know where I stand, I was for the war, and hurray to America and all...BUT...
I seen a lot of debating going on in this forum concerning the recent war in Iraq and the the U.N. and everything, but it get to certain point where all of this become pointless. It it a quagmire, I for America, don't like Europe, others like Europe, not much love for America, and so it goes.
IN ALL THIS ENDLESS DEBATE DON'T YOU PEOPLE REALIZE THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS IS PRETTY MUCH IN ALL YOUR DAMN ANSWER!!! APPARENTLY THE PROBLEM WITH THIS WORLD IS BEYOND EUROPE AND AMERICA...DAMN NATIONALISTIC PRIDE GET IN THE WAY ALL THE TIME
Now, some of you might start to think to yourself, but geez...isn't that what the UN or the ICC or NATO or European Union, etc. is for...UNFORTUNATELY, ALL THESE DAMN ORGANIZATIONS HAVE SO MUCH TIME TO DO SO LITTLE, ONCE AGAIN, IT IS NATIONALISM...The U.S. want the UN to do thing that fit our agenda, so does France, so does every other countries in the UN...and the trend fit all the other organization.
I don't have the answer, but hell, a lot of you rant on about no more war and world peace and promoting diplomacy and all that...but you and all those with opinions opposite of yours and your endless debate are the main obstacles in your own noble goal.
A little personal information about myself, I'm part Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and living in the U.S. of course, plus my sister is marrying an Irish-American man, so soon we will have European and American blood in the family...so you see how I reach this conclusion...
It's not possible for me to be truly nationalistic because...DAMN, TOO MANY OPTIONS!!!
It's obvious some people don't like the U.S. as a world power, and others don't like seeing anybody trying or becoming a world power...So I suggest instead of just sitting on your ass and yelling at each other about how your ideology is so much better than some one else, why don't you start discussing and COMPROMISE!!! (I cannot stretch that point enough people!!!) on your fantasy world power that have an interest to all of this world and serve all of this world and that it is something beyond and incapable of being corrupted by national pride.
U.S. manage to do it, unite all the states for a greater interest...UK did it, so did France, and a lot of other countries in this world...SO WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE DO IT FOR THIS ENTIRE FREAKING PLANET???
That is all, just need to let off some gas...hell, I'll wake up tomorrow and probably regret posting this thread.
