I'm interested because i have only ever really sold a few little items like CDs and DVDs etc, but am tempted to buy a job lot (say 100) of something for about £10 and re sell them individually, to make some cash.
Anyone ever made a huge profit? What goes like hot cakes?

Why don't more people sell hot cakes? I have to say I have never seen a hot cake being sold. Surely that's a gap in the market.

I sold a CD with 3 links, one to best buy, one to curcuit city, and one to Walmart. I advertised the CD as sources to get HDTV's for under 1500 dollars. I made 45 bucks on it

^ That's the stuff i'm talking about. Someone where i work bought an art portfolio of Goya's artwork in a conventional auction for £1 and sold it on ebay for £400! Sweet!
Akaban, for that link thing, i take it you did not reveal the link in the add, just stated that you had info you would give to the winner? $45 for a url is crazy ****!

Just go to a smalltown market/ yardsale and buy some old lamps or something old that is not pricy from an old lady. Then you sett a small starting bid, amateur antique hunters probably gonna bite it.

Yep, last weekend i bought a book that is over 100 years old for £1, and i reckon i can make a profit from it on ebay. Other copies are listed as starting at £10, so crossing fingers!

LOL, Greggs is awesome those shops were everywhere when I was in Scotland and England last year. I must have gained 15 pounds from eating all the deep fried food they have there. There was this one pastry that I really enjoyed but I don't know what it was called. It was some sort of breaded haggis damn I could go for one of those right about now with an Irn Bru.

I really don't sell too much shiz on eBay...most I made was $564 for an ORIGINAL ATARI beeyatch.
I'd much rather look at all the other crazy items on sale.
Entire college dorm of stuff lost during a bet - $1.
Runaway Bride in piece of toast - $20,000.
Hardened blood from "Kennedy" limousine after assassination with certificate of "authenticity" - $200,000.
Can of Dole peaches signed by Bob Sagget - +$1,000.
