Members of the U.S. special forces sit in the back of a truck, form part of a convoy which delivered people to the Dominican Embassy for evacuation from Port-au-Prince, February 27, 2004. Rebels took over a key crossroads town and edged closer to the capital while supporters of embattled President Jean-Bertrand Aristide mounted defenses Friday against a bloody rebellion that threatened to topple Haiti's government. Foreigners and Haitians have been fleeing the country for days. *******/Andrew Winning

A U.S. special forces soldier guards the Haitian Prime Minister's office in Port-au-Prince after Jean-Bertrand Aristide left the country on February 29, 2004. The United States plans to send forces to Haiti within days to deter rebels from grabbing power after President Jean-Bertrand Aristide resigned on Sunday under increasing U.S. pressure in the face of an armed rebellion, a U.S. official said. Criticized for responding slowly to defuse an armed revolt and for failing to mediate a viable alternative to Aristide, Washington is now worried rebels will fill a power vacuum in a nation with a history of coups and political violence. How many topics called 'Delta?' or 'Is this delta?' have been made now? :P
As soon as someone sees a guy with an M4 and a black vest its immediately assumed its Delta.

Aren't they MSD(s) of DSS?

Guys on pic 1 and 3 are DSS. We have seen them on serveral pic now and the caption said DSS. One of the guys is wearing a DSS Cap, the dude on the last pic wears a State badge.
Some of the guys look like your regular RSO staff, besides there aren't that many MSD qualified SAs available yet.
Looking at equipment is no way to identify who is who. Everybody takes the tools that get the job done.
They even took a Barrett once, when they went to Kurdistan escorting Ambassador Khalilzad and General Blackwater for a meet short before the war.
Many DS Agents have prior military service, so they'll look the way.
On the other hand. . .
Take John Branchizio (RIP), killed October 15 on a State Department security detail by a roadside bomb in the Gaza strip, worked for DynCorp and was a former SEAL.
So, anyone who would have looked on his picture and said DS, or SEAL or Dyncorp would have been right.
Fact of the matter is, it does not matter who they are and whom they work for, they protect Americans and U.S interests overseas, so be thankful and pray for their safety and stop arguing what they might be.

He is a friend of mine too. I cant say much either. Over and out.

At first glance of the first pic I immediately thought is was Miami SWAT. Very good find though. Looks like either Dyncorp or some other private franchise at work.
