This forum is totally addictive. Even though I'm not a military orientated person, as some of you may have noticed, I've spent some 70% of my working day here.

Maybe the members of this forum are a good combination of intelligent persons, who know much about different issues and argument well and accurately, and on the other hand, some silly, provocative fanatics, who just want to make people irritated.

Tomorrow it will be a year since I've joined... And for the most part of those past 366 days I've checked here everyday at least once... So I guess I'm pretty addicted as well. :P

it's extremely addictive. part of me always wants to be in the military (i was planning on applying to the USNA, but then decided to do ROTC, then decided to go to a college without an ROTC scholarship :cantbeli: ), so this forum is like a half-way point for me. ;) :hug: woot

I might be going on a limb here but I believe we are, for the most part, more aware of what is going on in the world than your average Joe...err..Bob.

Maybe not more aware but definately more engaged. This forum gives way for conversation and debate that allows us to develop, research, and analyze our opinions and insight against an audience.
Even when wading throug the hate and insult driven posts and arguements, people are given the opportunity to see another side or different angle on the topic. Most others just eat what the media feeds them.

That is just from the discussions on this board.. pics, info, links and such are all immensly helpful in out outlook and insight to the military.............in other words.. yeah.. it is addictive.

Too bad that school absorbs so much of my time, so the only times I can spend more time here are the weekends and occasional holidays.
