This has been around for about a year or so, it's the official recruitment video for the Norwegian MJK, Marinejegerkommandoen Naval SF Unit.
File size is around 5mb and quality is thereafter, but nevertheless interesting watching.

I'm afraid you're wrong...I might have. But Marine Jeger Kommando (MJK) is the norwegian word for Navy Ranger Commandos.

I'm sorry to say your wrong there. The MJK originaly came into being about the same time as the US Navy Seals, during the early 60's, and as the Seals were originaly very much influenced by the British RM SBS in concept and outlook. Though trained in use of explosives, sabotage, raiding and CT-work the MJK is first and foremost an LRRP ("LURP") unit with recon/humint/visual intelligence as main mission in times of war.
They do not f.ex. to my knowledge operate as a company to battalion sized strong arm backup element to SOF units as the US Rangers appear to do sometimes nowdays.
(As for that matter I've always wondered about the attitude to LRRP/small-unit work with the US Rangers of today, since the 75 infantry reg. from the outset was an amalgation of several divisional LRRP units in Nam).
Thus though I understand the Swedish Coastal Rangers (Kustjägare) have some frogman elements, MJK otherwise is quite a different type of unit.
If I'm right the Swedish coastal ranger units main mission is to actively defend Swedish territory from a seaborne invasion, and to act as a strong arm mobile backup for the coastal artillery. Also assume that the Swedish coastal rangers contain several elements with different specialities. Like elite light infantry transported in fast attack boats, mobile anti-ship guided missile units and frogman/recon element, and that they can operate in quite large sized groups like company or battalion if necessary to retake territory.
That last mission would be a total missuse of MJK assets. Especialy as MJK is a wery small unit.
Thus MJK is wery much a SOF unit in concept, and common with such units also have a 90% selection failure rate (what's the failure rate for the Swedish coastal ranger by comparison, I understand their training can be quite though).
As for the Swedish coastal rangers, the Norwegian armed forces now have similar units very much based on the Swedish concept (more or less a direct copy as far as I know), of elite light infantry units in storm boats, mixed with mobile anti-ship missile elements, but minus the divers.
Though as I've been out of the forces for quite some time I may be somewhat off.
