I took some photos last year when I went up to the Wright Patterson Airforce Museum for the "Blimp Fly-In" a couple weeks after the opened up the new Cold War hanger. I did not have a tripod with me so the pictures came out sort of crappy. I am planning on doing a complete photo essay of the entire museum, but have not yet had the time.

If any of you want detailed shots of specific aircraft, let me know. I am hoping to get up there for an all day shoot before summer this year. I also have abunch of WWI aircraft shots from their Bi-Plane Fly-In (both events were part of their 100 year of flight anniversary). I will be taking a tripod an really pushing exposure lengths to get some, fingers crossed, REALLy nice shots.

I saw an F22 prototype there a few years back.

neat place, lots to see.

Yep, the single largest collection of historical military aircraft in the world. They only have half of what they actually own on display. Which is incredible...
