Most likely who do you think will win the Presidential election put aside who you would like to see in office. This is not about who you want to see in the whitehouse or who you are going to vote for who do you think will win who will be the next president?

I really think it will be Bush but really think that Karry has a chance.

I hope it is Bush. Frankly I feel safe with him in office, his domestic policy may need work, but if the USA is threatend I want someone in power who isnt afraid to eliminate that threat. John Kerry just seems so shadyit scares me.

But do you think that It will be Bush or Karry? Thats what I'm asking I want Bush myself but the biggest thing that could hurt my vote is that Bush may not allow the assault weapons ban sunset and this is making it hard to decide. Only time will tell if he will allow this ban to go on.

Remember who do you think will win the whitehouse?

Could someone persuade Jimmy Carter to run...

No?

Ok, after a couple of tons of excrement being tossed by both parties at each other,

Kerry will emerge as a winner because Bush's sincere "this good ol' texan I wanna talk baseball with" -style is not going to work when real issues are being discussed.

Bush will not win if he alienates millions of law-abiding citizens who don't see the purpose for gun control. They will vote for the Libertarian candidate

I think Bush is smarter than that.

Yes, Bush can't handle the real issues. He will ask his advisors to handle the real issues for him while he cuts brush or reads the Bible.

yeah, because he hasn't dealt with any real issues his first term rofl

bush's down to earth demeanor comes off a lot better to the average joe than Kerry's aloof attitude.

Kerry doesn't stand a chance for lotsa reasons. one is that HILDABEAST CLINTON wants to run in 08, so a kerry presidency would screw that up.

True. Interesting campaigns coming ahead.

Bush's 9/11 related tv-ads got heavy flak from people who lost their loved ones, was reported in Finnish media. Or is it just typical European anti-Bush propaganda?

I think Bush will victor. I feel the American people will realize that Kerry would only ruin this country with his inability to make decisions.

It's way too early to call, so far - and there's a ton of variables yet to play ut (everything from Kerry's choice of veep - to the Bin Ladin/terrorism situation - to a number of ongoing investigations and congrssional inquiries [the 9/11 comission, the Valery Plame investigation, etc...]).

But, nonetheless, trying to be as objective as possible, I give Kerry better-than-even odds.

Speaking of which, not to derail, but who are you guys' guesses as to the Dems choice of VP?

On edit: first of all, I should probably answer my own question. My personal guess for the Dem VP nominee is Senator Bill Nelson of Florida.

Secondly, I think it's easy to overestimate the power of Bush's cmapaign chest. Now that the Dems are united behind Kerry, his fund-raising should be quite strong (many democratic donors were reluctant to give money before the primaries were decided - a factor Bush didn't have to face, which contributed to his strong early fundraising). Further, it is interesting to note that Bush has already spent well over $10 million on his campaign, so far without any significant results that I have seen.

Bush Will win. Votes that Would have gone to Kerry will now go to nader. Even if its like 4%, it will still be enough to tip the scales in favor of Bush.

Also, if he gets Osama, theres not a chance in hell he will lose, and right now, its looking like the chances of him getting nabbed before november are really nice.

I sure hope bush wins. Right now what we need is a commander in chief, and thats what bush is.

Yeah, leave it up to an anti-nuclear nut to put into commission the only non-nuclear Nimitz Class carrier, JFK, which requires a flotilla of refueling ships to follow it. Jimmy Carter can teach Bush a thing or two on terrorism... Tehran ring a bell?

Typical anti-bush not necessarily just European in this case. Democrats had been politicizing 9/11 for years now. 9/11: What did Bush know and when did he know about it? BS. When Bush puts it in his ads, its not hard for the Democrats to find a family member of a 9/11 victim in liberal NY/NJ/Connecticut area to cry foul. Who's exploiting 9-11?

Bush's ad has gotten more FREE air time than he PAID FOR as a result of the Dems and libs protesting it. This is just one more example of "dumb" George Bush politically outsmarting his opponents again.

I myself found the ads positive and simply hinted at importance of 9-11 and the war on terrorism. The over-reaction of the Dems and the liberal media protesting that has really brought the issue of terrorism and national security and Bush to the forefront of the political debate. EXACTLY where it should be.

The Dems have no platform to stand on except that they all hate bush and thinks he's an idiot.

hank has the right idea. other factors fail to hold weight against his, "war chest"
