I used to when I was a teenager. I had some really awesome planes from WW2 and some modern (at the time) jets.
Unfortunately moving every few years is not healthy for a model collection.
I do however have a really nice 1/48 scale B-1B kit that I've been lugging around. Someday...

I build cars...I have several waiting for me to get my airbrush in gear and do the bodies....Toyota Supra, Mazda RX7, JGTC Castrol Mugen NSX, and my girlfriend has a Corvette and Skyline in need of body paint.
I won't do any planes till I have more room to put them.

Well, I'm a navy man myself, so I've built quite alot of WWII ship models.
Tirpitz and the likes of it.

I used to, when I was younger. Mostly had planes, a few others. Only one left intact now is a Star Wars model, Boba Fett's Slave 1. Like Trigger said, moving isn't very healthy to models :)

Yeah, this is a badass Model. I actually don't like Navy Models but I realy thinking of buying this beast.
1/72 is my Scale but I usualy just deal with Figures, Tanks and Helos.
This would be a real challenge.

Yep I'm thinking of buying it.
It looks though on revells page that the green parts are resin superdetails, but it looks like a great kit regardless!

Erm, not an exclusive list but:
1/48: Apache, Sea Harrier FRS.1
1/72: Hellcat, Mustang, Corsair, Spitfire, Harrier GR.7, Jaguar, Tornado F.3
1/32 or 1/35: WW2 Soviet, Multipose US Marines, Afrika Korps
Got a 1/35 Warrior I keep saying I'll build. Maybe this holiday.
Also a fairly big Enterprise E (Star Trek), and a few Warhammer 40,000 figures.
My dad used to build loads. He has an immense number of Napoleonic and WW2 men and vehicles (not Napoleonic vehicles :D ) in 1/72, as well as many aircraft in the same scale, and a 1/35 Chieftan tank. He has a Tiger and Sherman in the same scale he hasn't built yet. Both of us need some free time to get them built.

WW2 German armor dioramas.

03-05-2004, 02:17 PM
Mostly 1/35 scale figures (Dragon, Tristar and some resin when my poor economy allows it).
Right now I'm working on
a german MG34 gunner (to be part of a dio)
a Desert storm sniper (just for fun plus I like the chocolate chip uniform)
a US army ranger dio set in the 1980's.
a german Kubelwagen...
...gonna post some pics when I my hands on a digi camera...

I used to build models in the summers when I was younger. I'm too busy to do it anymore...I still have a Flying Fortress and Huey somewhere...

Damn and I thought this thread was about super models.
I don't know if you know about this site, but go to www.aircraftresourcecenter.com It has a lot of different models (obviously most are aircraft).
I have built a few models in my short years. Got a few of the small 1/72 scale jets, just never painted them. I also have a couple 1/32 Hornets and a 1/32 AH-64D Longbow Apache that I still have to build.

Paper models were quite popular in Poland because they could be easily attached to newspapers and magazines and it's production is quite cheap....
