Watched this yesterday with a friend on DVD. God damn what a movie.

Itīs not cheap funny violence á Tarantino or Steven Seagal, itīs so realistic
that you really are affected. I bet this movie even disgusted the idiots at ******
and Rotten.com. This is not the kind of movie that is recommended, so I just say,
donīt watch it, especially not if you are a woman.
So, any more (shown at cinemas)-movies youīd recommend me to not watch?

If I'm correct thats the movie where the events play backwards AKA Memento style.
The conclusion is first hence not allowing the viewer to build up any empathy for the characters, the purpose being that the violence will appear more brutal and shocking.
Tricks for mind.

I disagree there, I say watch it. Sure it's violent and distressing, but it is one brilliant film, exceptionally well done and a thousand miles better than a lot of other stuff that is around. I would even call it a masterpiece. One thing I didn't like though, was the flickering white box at the end, first time I 'filtered' it with my hands, but the second time I focused on it and was able to see the shattering, well what looked like, shattering glass/stone. Quite clever, it really sticks with you, as the rest of the film does. T'is a proper film, and I wish there were more like it out there. 10/10 from me.

The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a little on the weird side...I thought it was an okay flick though. Jessica Biel is hot in that movie, :D

if you are asking about the vincent cassel/monica bellucci film, it's called irreversible. two scenes in particular are extremely brutal. overall, very disturbing film but definitely worth your time. the cinematography, among other things, is terrific...

Ever watch the Saviour? That's a pretty brutal and realistic representation of the war in bosnia, unlike, behind enemy lines and beyond borders rofl Stupid ass movies!
"Good" bosnia movies are "Warriors" and "Guerreros", Warriors is about a British Armored Regiment (?) and Guerreros about a spanish unit.
I am not sure about the original title of Warriors but i am sure one of the uk guys can help out here.
