This guy is a good example of bad reporting, bad fact checking and why so many people in the gun control movement in this country aren't respected by people who know anything about weapons.

The Bushmaster, a version of the military's standard AK-47 rifle, was the kind of gun they had in mind: highly accurate, extremely deadly from almost a half-mile away.

LOL, ya know I wouldn't doubt that this guy's military does use the AK-47 standard. The Peoples Republic of Island Chuckleheads Kvitching. Highly accurate from a half-mile, sign this guy up. He can through a half mile with a 16 inch barrel on a stock AR style weapon.

I'm pretty sure this knucklehead didn't even glance at form 4473 before writing this, or bother to check up on the actual laws.

My Eyes, My Eyes.

I'd sooner plug my private parts into a 220 volt outlet than assimilate the drivel those idiots put out.

Notice how the articles on their site only point out the victorys they've had. The gun-control obby has sufffered some defeats in the last few weeks, but not a peep about that. The NRA site reports both victories and defeats. An interesting contrast between the types of pepole you have at both orgs.

I didn't see the membership numbers on their site. Be intersted to know what it is. Usually groups like this are a few loudmouthed trust-fun babies getting more coverage than groups ten times their size. Don't know about these guys though. If anyone digs up that number please post.

AR47

It's a shame there isn't an email address so we can contact this stig, I'm a firm believer that if you hate something you should first understand it!

They are just as ****, anyone can shoot someone from 300-500 meters away with a hunting rifle if they wanted to, with a 5 round magazine in place.

It's just the fact that people like using those AR47s, AK47s, AR15s, etc... It is also how well trained or how good of a shot the person is with the rifle itself. After a year or two of going to the range, one time every two weeks for two years... yes you... can become a sniper in DC or Columbus...

and the Columbus Sniper is a ****ing bad shot... if I was the sniper, there would be 25 dead drivers on the roads.

Side Note, I've been shooting guns since 3rd grade :D
