My understanding is that the recording came from a Canadian embed.

None of the troops who have heard it that I know of have any OPSEC issues with it.

Not a huge OPSEC worry. Just did'nt seem like a great idea to me. Nothing major was passed on the net but it does seem like a bad precidence. Sigs can go through major hassles to get our level 3 clearances and we get read the security riot act fairly often so I'm probably a bit biased..lol

The audio has already made it's rounds. I was surprised to hear it, so much for OPSEC... hopefully this sort of stuff is controlled in the future. Might of sounded harmless, but there is a lot that can be picked up.

Well I foudn it on the Toronto (Red) Star website. It was from one of the embedded journalists.
