Easy to make, and tastes acceptable

My main problem is that I have a pizzeria in my house, it´s like a 50 meter
walk there. And they are good and cheap. If I make a pizza home it doesn´t
become any cheaper than if I buy it there. That´s kind of bad as hell.

But I can´t eat pizza everyday so I force myself to make food. Easy food like
the one on the picture that doesn´t require much effort.

Whoa, same here (well my Dad wasn't overseas). Always liked cooking, used to make stuff with my Mum when I was young and read my Dad's 'manuals' on how to cut up a cow the Army way et cetera. I am far from a metro****** but I can cook like a champ! Being a single father of 3.. I have no choice. I liked cooking even as a single soldier though. Having to rely on the chow hall or buying fast food was getting old and I had an Italian room mate. He made a big, traditional, Italian "family" meal. Family meaning my relatives and also "family" in the Soprano's sense of the word. The women that were there were extremely impressed. So I learned from him. Then when I went to college I learned a few recipes from my mom. I joined the army again and went to Texas. Suffice it to say I learned the art of grilling very well.

Now I can do anything from making a square meal for my kids on a daily basis, to making the meatball grinders for the boys when the game is on, to a full on gourmet grill party with shark steak and asian ribs. I am currently learning Venezualan cuisine and hoping to learn some southern smoking techniques.
