I got the SLP 2 one year ago, and next April the 3rd, I'll make the exams to get SLP 3 or SLP 4, depending on my results.

For those who are not into the military stuff, a STANAG, (or STANdardisation AGreement), is an international military standard created by the NATO for regulating equipment, procedures, tactics, training and just about everything that affects how armed forces from different countries work together on operations and exercises.

STANAG 6001 is a language proficiency scale designed to allow comparisons of language ability in different countries. The scale consists of a set of descriptors with proficiency skills broken down into five levels, coded 1 through 5. (SLP = Standardized Language Profile)

My english sucks, this is a fact. I've never been in a language academy, I learn engrish by myself (history books, newspapers, teh intarweb, etc...). I have two books to prepare my SLP exams, with a lot of grammar, reading, and listening exercises, but I really have problems with my pronounciation. I talk like if I was lickin' someone mom's cvnt.

If only the examiners were some of you guys....

Wish me luck !

Foxtrot, es muy chungo tronco, las conversaciones que vienen en los CD's me traen loco. Ven para España y presentate tu al examen por mi porfa.

I'll try to do this instead of looking at the answer sheet while listening the conversations. Thanks !

wanna hear one of them?

BTW, at least, I'll spend some days in Madrid (tirandole los trastos a una amiguilla que tengo por allí, jeje)

Typical mistake. Looking at the answer sheet while listening is a distraction. Listen the question with eyes closed. Dime de que puedo ser ayuda y suerte...... con la amiga (tambien con el examen)

I think you'll also find that STANAGs are also classified as a minimum of 'Restricted' and therefore posting information regarding their contents on a public forum is a breach of security.

please, my dear friend, google for STANAG 6001 :bash: :bash:
Follow this secuenece: first, think what you're going to say, then, misstrut if what you're going to say is true, once you're sure that it's true, then post your assertion. Easy, uh?
