"seamlessly into German units" - no I wouldn't say that. We cooperate very much and have the same language, but we use often different tactics and we do not have a combatible communication system at the moment.
But we are cooperating very good on (many) exercises, on Balkan and in Afghanistan, and we will form a EU battle group together. Our pilots will be trained at german Eurofighters etc. You can say that in military terms we slowly grow together.

Yes, we like our Ulan IFV - it is a great vehicle - quick (over 70km/h cross country), high mobility, very good cross county performance, comfortably for the grenadiers, the 2-man SP30 turret is powerful and a very good instrument to guide the grenadiers from inside the vehicle.
