Hey all, I've been searching around but couldn't find any info on reconairsoft.com (also known as Recon-Tactical.com)

I want to order a couple items from that store, but not sure if anyone had any experience with them before. Any issues with them that I should be cautious about? Thanks. :)

STAY AWAY FROM RECON TACTICAL/AIRSOFT! They are by far the WORST gear dealer I have EVER dealt with in my 6+ years of buying gear off the net. They guy may seem cool, but he is a pain in the ass and its been 7 weeks and I'm still waiting for my order.

happens with companies. I ordered a lot of gear from LF and havent gotten it since Dec. 20th in 05. Could be worse.

LOL.... I had the same problem with LightFighter.com No communications whatsoever and got one half of the goods after 2 months and the 2nd half another month later. Meanwhile asking about info of the rest of the order after the first part I NEVER GOT ANY REPLY.....bummer. Go with Optactical.com or Entrygear.com. Great comms.

Well in LF's defense, they do sell quite a lot of gear to actual soldiers. Both still stationed here and abroad. I mean what can you expect from a place that is located maybe, MAYBE 100 yards from the 101st ABN's gates. I understand that you ordered your gear and I'm not knocking it at all. I'm just saying that priority is with (and should be with) the soldiers first and foremost.

I know and understand it perfectly...but how much effort does it take to reply a mail? If LF replies me a mail and explain that it will take 2 maybe 3 months for the order to come thru because the need of USsoldiers are a priority, I would support LF and stay ordering @ LF. But the attidude is below average so they lose customers...but/and I think they don't care much what some non-military customer is complaining about. Some just keep ordering there because they don't know any better.

Midwest tactical took a month to get me my vltor stock. I never heard from the guy yet he charged my account. I was literally about to file a dispute against him to get my money back because his voice mail box was full and he never responded to my emails.

And it is the soldiers priority, and I have stepped in to the store once, and unfortunatly it wasnt for long. But you have to realize I know that soldiers are a priority, but 4 months is absurd for a simple piece of kit, a BHI Buttpack, an item that doesnt see much use in Iraq or AStan. Doesnt matter, I will talk to the store to work something out...
