Howdy and welcome.

Can only go along with the other posts in hoping for success in the
allied endeavor.

I do hope the Iraqi people continue to support the operation with
the knowledge that the US will step aside with regard to internal
affairs and security once they, the Iraqis, are ready.

The Iraqis are showing great courage and resolve.

Little doubt the offer is probably on the table to the new Iraqi government
for long-term US aid and assistance for external threats (read: Iran,
Syria and terrorism).

Thanks for the welcome everyone, and for all your reply's.

I quess all we can do is hope that the Iraqi people will continue to support our troops there for as long as it takes to help make their county safe. I feel as long as the Iraqi people stay moving in the right direction with all this' things will work out for everyone. They do have a long road ahead of them, and so do our troops.
