MMMMMMMMMMM.... Anyone gonna get this? I'm very attracted ATM.
Looks pretty nice, how did the recall V3 gearboxes fair in G&G's m16 type AEGs?
There's also this neato G&P RAS 2

Wonder if it fits on the G&G guns?

They should fit together. Most airsoft parts are interchangable..
USMC, what's wrong with m4's? It's airsoft! Buy what you like! It's not a uniqueness contest.

Yes. But about half of the airsofguns are armalite based. Diversity is good.

Not necessarily, the US is probably the most diverse country in the world and look how bad it is, we have racism, all kinds of political difference, crimes, etc etc.
Diversity isn't always a good thing :D

D3ath,
I'll reserve my comments. I don't see anything wrong with the US. The same stuff happens anywhere two or more people congregate. I love my country.
Whats makes this M4 better than the other 800 M4's out there, if nobody minds my asking?

I just worked on the m16 version:
The metal body employs the G&P style rear "lip" as opposed to the CA double pin or TM style crap tabs. It has a really good positive lock that wont break or bend.
The gears look fine. Nothing to complain about.
Anti-reversal latch is a little more burly.
The trigger switch is marginally different than the CA or TM, molded in black plastic, but had a more refined molding.
Nozzel: upgraded from the get go. No more TM "+" crap.
Cylinder: Unported.
Pistonhead: Inexpensive, with o-ring expansion ports on the face of the head, much like the systema style pistonhead.
Piston: Aluminum. Get rid of it. Aluminum pistons spell disaster. The mechbox needs a part with some flexibility, the piston is the best option.
bushings: 7mm nylon. Say see ya to those, and pick up some CA 7mm metal bushings. Reason: Split a bushing and replace your gear set when an axle comes out of line. Go metal, they last.
Tappet Plate: It's a tappet plate. Nothing major to report.
Gear box: Stouter. Funny thing is the screws thread from the opposite half of the box as opposed to TM, CA, and Systema. I guess they wanted to feel special.
One item that sounded good on paper, but isnt great for real: The mag release. It is a two piece, rather than three piece lock down. The mag release button threads to the mag release bar. Slip it through, drop the spring, and thread on the button, instead of having a screw to lock it down. It makes for a button that moves and isnt positively locked down.
Hop-up: One piece. Good to go.
Barrel: Didnt measure, but supposed to be 6.04. Brass.
Fit and finish. Pretty nice. No wobble in the marriage between the reciever and front barrel assembly. Overall a lot of cool for the price.

Thanks for the info - what about Durability of external parts and the Magnesium receiver..does it seem weaker than CA in any external areas?
Skorotsny - it has the l337 MOUT CQB sling attachment behind the pistol grip.
