Word to that.

I used Adobe Premiere in my audio/video class, any dolt can use that program as long as you have a couple chromosomes you should be fine. As long as you generally understand what you want done its relatively easy and painless.

Hey - I just checked at the UT computer store and I can get Pinnacle video editing software for about $70.00. Anybody use that?

The guy at the shop likes it and uses it himself. I am going to try the freebie from seventy6er today but I am just curious.

Also, I can get myself a real licensed copy of Premiere Pro for $250.00 in the box with manuals and the whole deal. I really would be buying another license on UT's big adobe license. But still, that is one hell of a deal. $600 or $250 - no brainer to me. The guy at the shop said Premiere Pro is the best and he would get it but $250 is too much. I could afford it (although $250 is a lot of $ right now) but I wonder if it is that much better? I'd love to hear opinions about Pinnacle.

Before everybody has a fit - I really can't get it off-line right now b/c if for some reason I got caught then I might not get to take the bar this summer. Too much risk even if I was so-inclined. I just can't see risking employment over $250 at the most.

If you're looking for the best, You might want to have Avid. But it cost arms and legs.
Before spending any money, you might want to check this out:
