I have a solution for you my fellow militaryphotos.net forumer friend, a few years back some dudes broke into my folks place and took a tv and a few other valuables and but my dad came home while they were in the living room and scared them off they didnt have time to grab the tv from my room, but those fvckers were able to my remote control for some fvcken reason (ASSHOLES). Ill bet your wondering where this is going well ill tell ya. I went to futureshop and I got me a universal remote control, yup, with a universal control you can turn on and off just about any tv. All you gotta do is synronize it with the tv and your set - its explained in the manual how to do that. :D hope that helps
ah almost forgot.
check to see if any of the batteries are out of place abit, that happens to mine often, the remote works just one of the batteries is out of place.
