You'll get the same exact effect as if the game were designed for people with low-end systems, while not compromising the game for those that have higher-end systems.

I thought Far Cry had pretty good grahpics and all, but the Gameplay and Story was the worst PIECE OF **** WHICH I HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST 200 YEARS. WHAT A LOAD OF BULL****.I read an interview with one of the Crytek guys who acknowledged that Far Cry had a very weak story, and that one of their objectives with Crysis was to create a more original and engrossing story. From what we've seen of the gameplay, it doesn't seem too different from Far Cry, but hopefully it still may be decent. Personally, I was hoping for something closer to a tactical shooter. I really want to see a freaking scifi tactical shooter one of these days.
