Sorry for the stereotype, but I was recently asked to write a short story for my school's literary magazine, and I decided to write about a bullfight in a Spanish stadium. The idea came to me after I saw a documentary about both Spanish matadors and Portugese mounted bullfighters, and I was very intrigued.
I'm looking for a source of information about the traditions of Iberian bullfighting, pretaining to the clothing, and the basic gist of the sport. Just looking for the way things go, the order of events, and so forth.
If there is any place you could direct me to, or possibly give any information yourself, it would be most appreciated. I may even post what I write on here when I'm done.
Thanks in advance.

I think that I can help you : But First of all , I don't like bullfighting, although I respect the ones who like it.Tauromaquia ( which is the term used to define anything concerning to bullfighting) has a very strong heritage in southern Spain were poor guys risked their lives as toreros
(matador as you say ) to get some coins. I've been told that it Bullfighting was a tradition among the Iberian tribes before the roman conquest. But this tradition is not only in Spain and Portugal in France ( Nimes I think ) they also have bullfighting.
Sorry I can't help you anymore cause I don't Know much about it. If you want you can check this links:
