I thought it was old and **** because of the funny spelling. But they're talking about micro-wave ovens...strange...

It's written to reflect how English is spoken by a Finn. It would make loads more sense to hear it read aloud.

Garrison Keilor and Lake Wobegon on National Public Radio - NPR - on the weekends. Have you heard of him?

He does a great radio show from a mythical place in MN with all the Norwegian immigrants. It is really quite funny. He has a whole cast of characters that speak on the radio very similarly to the quote you gave. I listen to it whenever possible.

Well you should check it out. Great show. Check the NPR website - they are great about having audio clips available online.

Garrison Keilor is one of the funniest guys around. You know a guy is funny when he can make jokes about salted fish and pickled cabbage and make a guy from TN laugh outloud in the car.
