Here are a couple of WW2 pictures from an intersection in the small village of Honsfeld, Belgium.

in the 2nd 'yesterday' pic you can see the the US style jacket now i look at it, altho one is barefoot in the first pic.

Pay a visit to the 360-cinema by Arromanches if you like the "Yesterday-Today" perspective. They had some really good transitions between WWII and recent time!

Yeah. He needed the boots more than they did. Looting always follows war. We did it to dead Germans too. My Grandfather didn't get his souveniers at Hurtegen from the store.
