I'm sure there was only one taken on the ground during that actual mission. There might be more aeriel shots around though. I'll just search for it now.

the US Gov't has hundreds of hours of video of the whole thing happeneing, from various cameras, and photos up their butt... but they also have the same for just about everything they do military wise.
that IS the only photo from the day, it was before any fighting happened though.
You can see the top of one ranger's helmet, and the tall building in the back is the olympic hotel if i recall... about one block (right acording to the picture), then about a block and a half up (going away from the camera) is the target building. with this picture alone you can see how poorly Blackhawk down (movie) represented mogadishu. its a good movie, but if you read the book, the movie is suddenly pathetic.

I hope you guys realize that "Blackhawk Down" was a a book, movie, and series of newspaper articles. The actual operations was called "Gothic Serpent".

Ive always what the actual operation was. I never knew so thats why I call it Black Hawk Down. And anyways, more people would know of Black Hawk Down (more common) than Gothic Serpent (less common)
