Man, Why am I not surprised by this. Today on the news I heard one of these brainiacs who were marching state how they were proud to be Mexicans and were entitled to their rights. ..... Well I for one am damn proud of them, its about time folks from other lands stood up for their rights.... I say good for them! Be proud Mexicans, now go home, back to Mexico and demaned your rights from your own government.

Problem is that if they try to demand real things from their government, they'll get sprayed ala Boston Massacre. Mexico's government hasn't advanced much past the Spanish colonial system...corruption and organized crime is the real power in Mexico.

Theres nothing we can do, or do we?(I dont think so) And i dont even care about immigration blah.. blahs... just live happy and watch your son and Daughter marry a Latino or a hot latina. I dont even care i have my Hs diploma. almost done with college, and i'll be having a God Damn fine Job soonp-)

Hate to break it to ya, but a college degree does not guarantee you a job ;-).

@ED316 - yeah, that upset me that they preach about America and all that jazz, but they have the gall to wave around the Mexican flag.

My father and I are very much for the deportation of ILLEGAL immigrants (the problem with the debate in the Latin Community is that they REFUSE to distinguish the difference between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration). Again I am an American with parents who LEGALLY immigrated to the United States from Mexico. A lot of my Mexican family is sick and tired of the illegals mooching on the American system and thus giving the legal immigrants a bad name. Vicente Fox is a failure to himself, and to the Mexican people. How dare he demand that America take more of the Mexican population, I loved that radio segment, when the host went off on how dare they get angry at the prospect of local law enforcement enforce immmigration laws when the Mexicans do it. La Raca can kiss my American ass. Vicente Fox, and the PAN and PRI parties can kiss my American ass. ILLEGAL immigrants can kiss my American ass. Hell I know when I discover someone is an illegal I call the border patrol :) Ok enough rant.

Problem is, INS won't do much of anything when you call them. At least they didn't not so long ago. A few years back when I was copping, we arrested several illegals who were working on a construction project (this was in northern Kentucky).

After finally tracking down a number for INS that actually had a person there to answer it - we were informed that INS would see that they were deported... if they had committed a felony.

Of course, had they committed a felony - we'd want them prosecuted and imprisoned - then deported.

For all I know those illegals are still running around here somewhere.

Funny part about this whole flare up is in Mexico it is a felony to assist an illegal immigrant even if they person is in need of medical attention, the only immigrants Mexico wants heading to the US is Mexican's anyone seeking to get into the US via Mexico who is not a Mexican is going to be robbed, arrested, and deported :roll:

Yep, guess I'm wrong about support, but I won't just stick to Canada. I have relatives who lived all over the place, the US included (through legal immigration). I just don't want negative reaction regarding illegals that could spill over to a clamp down on the ones who immigrated to other places legally.

As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. Great once the "mexican" people reclaim "their" lost states life will be magically better! Just like the wonderful, fun-filled, prosperus Mexico, we currently see!! Woo-whhoo!

The hiring of illegals does a lot to help the economy, and the government looks the other way, because they reap the business tax...

BUT, having their kids in school, while their parents don't pay taxes is actually more expensive than any profits you recieve from business taxes. It's a long-term thing, Mexicans coming into Texas illegally, but now it is becoming a serious expenditure for the state government, which is now in financial ruin over education...

Mexico will get worse and worst. Nowadays not only are uneducated illegals are crossing the border but alot of college grads are doing it too. They can't find jobs in Mexico so they come here. It's a shame because a country's most precious assets are it's people.

I reality though America is not going to round them up and ship them south. Just imagine the shyt storm. America simply won't do that.
