All that thing to support a anti-aircraft cannon and missiles???
Wouldn't be cheaper to put it in an T-72 chasis let's say???

I think it actually might be a ciws for defending airfields and such against missile attacks. Not antiaircraft.

Yup, its like the Roland Missle System on a german MAN Truck we have here in germany, its used by the Air force to Protect Airfields and so on, not for Active engaging the enemy. China has other systems to activly engaging Air Targets, like the Type 95 SPAA.
