I didn't know artillerymen are consider as commandos

How many Commando units are there? I was at 29 Palms two years ago when 40 Commando was there... those mothers could drink.

Congratulations, and good luck.

There are three infantry Commandos (=battalion), 40,42, 45. There are also one Royal Engineer Commando regiment (59) one logistics regiment (CLR) and one Royal Artillery Commando Regiment (29),as shown in the photos. Almost all personel in these units are commando trained, with the engineer, artillery and some of the logisticians coming from the Army, not the RMs.

they're not, commando gunners are :)

They all have infantryman as a second role and lots of the commando gunners took up arms and patrolled along side the regular commando units in Iraq once the ground war was over.
