Every week there are at least 1-3 guys that are totally snapping it.

Some weeks ago PermskiiOMON bitched out that he wanted to leave this forum because people in here were giving him a hard time.
I was glad that he said that he wanted to leve, cause even though he has provided good and informative pictures here, he aint got a good attitude when it comes to replying in writing.
But of course some people then nagged about that it would be a crying shame, and he returned back, even more uglier in his comment.
Notorious treats and rantings and God knows what.

RussiaAmerican ain't better either. What is it with you insensitive replies?
So what if someone gives you a hard time. Is it so difficult to ignore those who do?

Many of them comments are meant to be sarcastic or funny. But you testestorone level cranks up 10.000 % and you go totally blind.

I know of course that I now will get my ass flamed and possibly some killing treats aswell. Hell, nmaybe some of you Russian guys jump on a plane to night, steal a Mercedes 500 in Oslo and come driving up to my house. I dont care.

My advice is that you get back to the forums were people love to lick your behinds, cause here you still will get resistance when ranting a lot of bullocks.

I don't generally have a problem with the russians here - they are somewhat touchy though, and seem to take things a bit too seriously. But they have good photos, so it's all good =)

the ruskies get attacked quite a bit from all sides, that is why several have left. i have seen many people start **** with them they cant finish. on top of that i have learned a great amount about the russian military, its people and its past thanks to trolls crapping on russian equipment, lifestyle and history and the russians having to point out cold hard truth.

in addition the russians have posted great info and pictures. this does not excuse there behavior, yet the relentless bashing of the way they live, have lived and how they do things however certainly gives them some fighting spirit and grounds for starting ****.

First let me say that this post isnt directed to anyone specifically (so no responses like “point to where I say that” etc…. ;) )

Listen, I too don’t agree with some of the way some of the Russians have responded here (perhaps a bit over the top ;) ), but to single them out for a thread is also absurd. First there are lots here bashing people, hell just like some from Europe see a lot of euro bashing, gay bashing, etc there are a lot that also see Russian bashing, America bashing, Israel bashing, etc. (which in my opinion are on a more consistent basis then any Europe bashing)


To single out blame on one group is very misguided not to mention hypocritical.

The same is for those that are disgusted by Sixgun Symphony (and some of them have even in the past called for his banning), I mean that is also utterly absurd and hypocritical for he is just the polar extreme opposite of what was plaguing this forum before by a lot of extreme left wingers and some of the garbage that they have spewed (I am not going to name the names but you know what I mean)

Listen I don’t agree with all of what he says (and I probably recognize that he is a bit of a anti Semite) but if some of the extreme opposites of him are tolerated here he should be as well.

Free speech should be open to all sides and not just to one viewpoint (of course there can be a line to outright racism and derogatory name calling)

I like this forum due to the vast array of opposing opinions (believe me if I didn’t I wouldnt be here…..I enjoy hashing out opposing viewpoints ;) :D ) and the different BTDT’s from a lot of different nations (though I wish there were more) but the incessant whining and hypocrisy from some is getting to be a bit annoying.

To me the problem is not the constant bashing of each other in politics ( for that is a reflection of the real world ;) ), no the real problem is that some have no idea of what its proper place means. In other words, it’s the hijacking of threads to off topic political discussions that is a real problem on this forum.

I mean if you want to talk politics go to the general forum and talk away, but when a member comes in with MILITRAY PHOTOS on what is a MILITARY forum, comments should be on the MILITARY aspects of those photos being that this is a MILITARIES oriented forum where former BTDT’s and just plain old military enthusiasts come to discuss and share stories on anything military.

It’s a shame that when I post pics on this forum (that I do often) I need to include this obvious warning
I will repeat one of my warnings in small print here

Lastly, its sad but unfortunately I need to remind people that this is a military forum, where former BTDT’s or military enthusiasts come to share pictures or stories or just chit chat on anything military and if some of these pics conflict with anyone’s personal views on the conflict in general, well take it to some political forum or at least in the general section, here in this section of what is a PHOTOS section in what is a MILITARY forum, I ask all to keep it strictly on that theme and on what I brought down

Now I do admit that for us Israelis it got a little better since those warnings and us trying to keep on top of things ;) , but it shouldn’t even have to get to that, it should be obvious as to what kind of forum this is and when a person posts pics, the proper respect should be shown to that thread regardless of what you thought of him or his nations policies.

Anyways just my two cents…..carry on ;)
