Finlands prime minister (1950-3, 1954-6) and
president of Finland from 1956 to 1982.

You'd better not mess with our former President Urho "the holy" Kaleva Kekkonen!

Another "freaky" picture of him...
Kekkonen was such a democrat that he even dodged the constitution in order to be elected again and again and again. And his statue in the president's castle is bigger than those of other presidents :D

Come on, he was just a little more 'above' anyone else due to his high ideals and all...
And it was obvious that the people loved him, so Mr. Kekkonen just decided to be the next president over and over again. It's not like he had any real competitors!
(Please, include a smiley so the Finnish patriots won't bash me in the head)
No, I truly think it's worth a smiley that his statue is the biggest. It's simply funny and childish. (whoever is responsible for it)
Kekkonen might have been our president during tough times and obviously didn't screw up. That time was also democratically questionable. You couldn't criticize him, he ran the parliament as he wished and changing the constitution for someone's benefit doesn't give a good picture of those times. If he would have stepped aside as the constitution demanded, there would have been a new president. Trust me.

Yeah, just imagine what corrupt power-games that bald old man was playing while not modifying the constitution at his own will...
(Duh, I had to make this message just to receive that third star, congratulations welcomed)

Ha haa, yeah I know you meant the video but I'm such a post whore whenever my number of posts is nearing another star I'll do anything for the fastest possible way to get it.
Right?
And, this seems to be a good day in other terms as well. Someone spelled my name right in this board and you were kind enough to congratulate me.
Talking 802 posts full of dung is not exactly easy, I can tell ya'...
But back to the topic, ehm...
