i heard that that car was voted most dangerous, because of the death count. i don't know when. come to think of it, i don't even know if it's true.

I should be getting my first car here soon.
Right now I'm looking at several cars, but I really want a Honda CRX :D
If I got it i'd probably do a engine swap with a Civic Si or a older Acura Integra. But I'd like to keep the outside simple
Anyways heres a CRX pic

The ones made by jeep were the really dangerous ones.
Ford Pinto was most probley most dangerous car of all time.
Due to the fact it could get hit in the back at 15 KMH and make both it and the vehicle that hit it blow up.

my buddy had one of those jacked up sitting on 32's. the 1300cc engines werent powerfull enough. You could always rig it up to use all toyota stuff also, but its alot of custom stuff. I also heard you could use a hyundia pony carb(better then the stock carb) and pony springs to help make your suspension more "slinky"..pretty fun...not so fun when a wheel lifts off the ground and always provides a "ball hair raising" experience sometimes off roading.

Mine was a '89 Daytona Shelby. Loved that thing.... Fortunately I sold it to my brother so I can drive it when he lets me for old times sake.

I remember my Dad's 1977 Chrysler Newport. He sold it to me many many years ago when i got my license.
That car was a TANK.
you could literrally lay down in the backseat and not have to bend your knees or get into the fetal position. It was that wide.
It sucked gasoline like water though and i had to sell it.
Those suckers are still around today, mostly in Demolition Derbys kicking ass.

Vance, what are you looking for as a vehicle?
1977 chevy Nova - it would haul the mail. I wrecked it within 6 months and had to drive around in a wrecked 1977 Nova unitl I graduated.

I can relate, Hank. My second car was a gold 1972 Mercury Montego with a white top. My brother hit a tree with it, and my dad replaced the front end with the front end of a white woody station wagon. He never bothered to repaint or anything like that. I think I do have a picture of that one around here somewhere. I didn't care at the time though.... it got me around. I think the kids in my high school would think they were too cool too drive something like that. Of course most of them have nicer cars than I do even now.
Oh well... I don't have a car payment. :D

My first car would have been a 1985 Audi 2000, inherited from mom and dad. However, less than a week after I got my driver's license, I had a mishap. 16 year old James and his girlfriend were driving to the mall to see a movie or something. Audi stalled at a stop light. White smoke came out from under the hood. White smoke turned black. FIRE! James evacuated GF and trotted over to a nearby gas station to call 911. FD arrived and extinguished fire.
To make a long story just a little bit longer, my first car was a 1989 Toyota Corrola.

... But in blue, and a bit newer. Wasn't driving it legally mind, as I was around 10. My Mum dealt with the pedals and I had the steering wheel. My first proper time with control was with...

... But in a light greeny colour. Again I was driving it illegaly, but this time I was 13/14, I started it up all by myself, drove it back and forwards, and I even, with the help of my Mum of course, reversed parked it into our drive... With a load of friends watching as well of course.
Those were the days...
:P
As for my proper first car, well I don't have one, as I can't legally drive at the moment!
