Someone is making good money out of this .hehe :lol: like I said before about this site, they “forgot” to put in the currency converter ;) , so when something is five shekels (and its around 4 shekels to every U.S. dollar), they simply write it as five dollars.

I have a few patches. My israeli friend who got them for me said one of them was sayaret matkal, but i think he just said that to seem cool.
Ill take pics of them l;ater. and post. maybe. ;)

An interesting coincidence is that just today in one of the Threads (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10200) I brought up a post of mine from a while ago about Israel’s security help and training that we gave to your security forces in preparation for the Olympic games. (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6177&highlight=israel+greece)

So we sure know how to repay our fans appreciation ;) :D

Sayeret Matkal is one of the few Israeli units that DO NOT have a shoulder patch.

I long time ago I was serving in the British armoured corps and we had israeli tank soldiers come over to us to train. Some nice girls too.. :lol:

Can't say that I'ma fan of the IDF. But that is because I am way beyond the age of being a "fan" of anything.

But to use the words of the youth, they do rock! And I have the deepest respect of the IDF.
