I'm trying to prove to someone that a USMC Officer usually carries the "football."
I tried using the search function but keep coming out with a football game-related thread.
Anyone have a couple of picture(s) of this USMC Officer carrying the "football?"
Thanks in advance.

It rotates between Army, Navy, AF, Marines, and yes, even the Coast Guard. They are usually O-4's that carry it. So, no, you would not be able to prove that it is a Marine Corps officer that usually carries the football.

The case itself is a metallic, possibly bullet-proof, modified Zero-Haliburton briefcase which is carried inside of a leather "jacket".

I don't think there are 300g pda's capable of strong satellite communication and/or burning through jammers, but correct me if I am wrong. Also, replacing the device in itself would be a security risk, I suppose.

Edit: That is, if there is any kind of communication device inside. The usatoday.com article only mentions documents.
