I rember reading, in Maxim of all places, about a guy who went to A-stan to find bin ladden. His name was Jack Idema. Was he who and what he claimed (ex sf) or just a crack pot "10%er" like Haney is labeled. I remember he was sentenced to like 30yrs or something,and I had seen in some news footage of people at the whitehouse w/free jack signs. what's your guys take on him and his plight.

Still in an Afghan prison. Guy was actually living around my hometown in Po'town for a while. Had a military surplus type store tried/did open a paramilitary training facility around here to. Believe he was shutdown by the local govt. Tried to do the Soldeir of Fortune thing there in Astan. Didn't go to well for him I guess.

he appaerntly did pas the Q course, but was not in a team, it's generally thought of him as a pile of crap, Haney for what ever fault's he had, was/is not a poser, read Robin Moores book the hunt for Bin Laden there a nice pic of Idema on the cover, and it's basicaly him as a super hero,:roll:
