Abba isn't worthy. The other ones you listed are okay though, I think. Don't listen to a lot of 70s music.
Fast forward a decade instead. Now that's some good music.

The Doors are my all time favorite group. The Eagles and Rolling Stones are also a couple of my favorites, I will never get tired of hearing Paint it Black or Sympathy for the Devil. Right now I'm on a Slipknot kick though.

Cher
just put the gun in your mouth and end it all now.
I used to listen to (and in many cases, play with my band, even live) lots of 60s and 70s songs.
Hardly we're going back to such good music.
There is nice music today too, but the musical skill and creativity achieved in the past decades (when technology that played instruments for you wasn't an option) will hardly be reached again from the contemprorary "community of musicians". There still are some good musicians (in terms of playing instruments) but the skill levels that were reached in the past are something different (the great guitarists or pop piano players just to make an example).
You had to really learn how to play an instrument to make your sound come out of the record. Today, not anymore.
I know at least a bit of it, since I own a professional recording studio.
Anyway, I listened to the AC/DC a lot, at least until Back in Black (included).
Many rock classics (Led Zed, Who, ... ). And also some less known bands such as the Free (early 70s).

I went to a Halloween party several years ago that claimed the theme was 70s music. Unfortunately they played a bunch of disco, till I started complaining and demanding some other 70s stuff - Tom Petty, Springsteen, Bob Seger, CCR, Bad Company, Thin Lizzy, Boston, ELO, Skynyrd, Allman Bros., etc. Soon we were doing shots and beer chasers, and having an air band contest...70s music rocked.
