Sweet pics. SRT is a Military Police unit, correct? Are they sort of the USMC equivalent of SWAT?

I dont really know too much about SRT but yes they are simliar or comparable to SWAT and they are an MP unit, at least thats what my recruiter says who is an SRT member. :D

SRT=Special Reaction Team. Every military facility has SRT/QRF team. SRT/QRF guys are selected from regular SEC4.

Not quite true, most of the major military installations have some type of response team (SRT for Army and Marines, EST for AF and I've seen some Navy installations that call them either SRT or SORT).

Some teams are all military (MP, SF, MA), or DOD Police or DOD Security and others are mixed. It varies. Some installations hare team between them (MDW SRT), and other bases use the local Police, Sheriff's or FBI SWAT team as the base response team.

Also the QRF is not a SWAT unit. Its an immediate reaction force to respond to an attack or incidet on the base (I just returned form pulling 15 months of base security and was on the QRF for two seperate bases).
