Sleeper Cell...

Ok - So I just watched the first episode of Sleeper Cell...

At first, I thought "oh no, not another 'Mozlem Terrorizt' basher" but not even 5 minutes had passed and I was extremely impressed and quite moved by the drama and the story plot. I thought it touched on some real good and ingenius topics that is causing a strain in the world in this day and age I think.

Anyways, has anyone watched it? If so, what do you think of it? I assume it's been out in America for quite some time, so excuse me if I'm late.

i've seen a couple episodes, thought it was pretty decent. better than 24, that's for sure.

I think some things of Sleeper Cell were slightly 'overdone' but the overall message is good.



They made an error in the first episode (that I seen) where they are all having a meeting and they do Wudhu (the washing before the prayer). Instead of praying they just have their meeting and forget about praying, which I thought was odd, but other than that - it was cool.

In your opinion. I thought it was an amazing series, hardly overated in the slightest.

Besides from the obvious one man army, I thought it was more realistic than your average military/anti-terrorist drama.

I totally enjoyed all episodes of all 4 seasons of 24 I watched and can't wait to get my hands on Season 5.

If Sleeper Cell is anything like 24, I'll be watching it :)

24 has a lot of network PIZZAZZ. Otherwise it is a good show.

Sleeper cell comes off as a little more realistic. The only issue I have is that it does not show rank and file muslim strongly and publicly condemning radicalism. There is always the moment of "You must understand where they are coming from". Hey, I don't accept that crap from the extreme right wing separatist militia christians, I REALLY won't accept it from terrorist sympathizers.

I like that Sleeper cell tries to show and explain some muslim traditions.

Reguardless they both blow what is on network TV out of the water.

Is sleeper cell coming back? Will he be an undercover agent or a field agent tracking down the other cell?
