It's still cold here. Two weeks ago i thought 10°C (50° F) is "summer" and didn't take a jacket with me on a night out. I was sick as a dog for a few days. Yes i'm a bit retarded with proper clothing. My first time in finland in a late october i only had a (very) thin jacket with me. :cantbeli:  (talking about a latitude of alaska)

My air conditioner doesn't work when it is this hot...just clicks and blows hot air. I'm jealous, but I'll tell you, I have never had air conditioning in my car, and that helps your tolerance for heat as well.

I know i know, the climate can change in a radius of 100km. We had hardly any snow here with a slightly warmer coastal climate while 100km away they sunk in snow. And in most of canada they have tons of snow at the same latitude. But the intensity of the sun and the sun hours per day are the same. Which is kinda weird if you think you would live in a latitude of Marocco.

I hated the humidity when i spend summers in the US. And i love the very dry heat on the southern coast of spain (around Almeria - El Ejido to be exact woot ). Especially when the warm air comes from the Sahara desert over the med and you have 37°C (ca. 100°F) at night without any humidity and it feels like a hair dryer coming from the see.

These pussies really make me mad.

I was driving home, and I remembered something about my trip to Vermont last summer.

The locals in Burlington were bitching and moaning about a heat wave. "My god, it's 89 degrees, I just can't believe it."

I laughed and told them it wasn't that bad. They knew immediately I was from the South, and they asked where from. Then, this woman said, "Well, it's a lot more humid here than in Texas..." rofl rofl

Actually I used to spend summers in Wisconsin and it was pretty awful up there too. Mosquitoes that would suck you dry and nasty humidity. Chicago usually isn't too bad - sometimes a couple days over 100, but most of the time its around 80-85.

haha. Hrmm.... you have pictures?..... of Bridget I mean.

In the middle of the summer it'll break 100'f here for about a week or two, but it's always fairly dry, so it's not unbearable by any means. The best part is that it will be 105'f during the day, then drop into the 50s or 60s at night. Makes it easy to sleep.

It's all relative to where you're coming from and where you're headed. The body obviously climatizes so if you fly from Maine to Texas in the middle of July, you're gonna be hurting. I once flew from the NorthEast in the middle of December, where it was about 5 degrees fahr., to Hellfish's neck of the woods in Florida, where it was about 80 degrees, and my body went into total shock and I had a sinus infection akin to the guy in the movie "Scanners" who's head explodes, not a good experience. I think rust- belt cities tend to have the best balance of temp's.
