Unit Identification Help

Can anybody identify what unit these soldiers are from? The photo was taken in Bosnia in January 2006. Some seem to have a blue tab on their upper right sleeve (if that helps in identifying them...). I believe a buddy of mine with whom I have lost contact with is in that photo. If they're Royal Engineers, my suspicions are confirmed.

Well the blue patch appears to be an IFOR insignia, note the flag behind them.

Oh, and I like the look on the female soldier's face on the left! Most women on deployment gradually start looking better and better, until maybe you'd consider a roll; but this visit has probably trashed that possibility for a while :)

A few of them are wearing the 58 pat belt. Some have stable belts of the SIGNALZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I assume that they're Royal Sigs, with some other personnel attached.

The blue patch is a EUFOR-emblem: European Union ForceIn Bosnia and Herzegovina..

Looks like EUFOR MISU (Multi-national Integrated Signal Unit) That's supposed to be covered by 201 Signal Squadron.


Btw, those girls look almost photoshopped into that image.. just of how 'perfect' they are, relative to the other people... p-)

royal sigs and the guy top left is an engineer (blue tapes on chest) dunno if signals do this dont care either.......oh and i ****ing despise name badges!

Yes they are lucky enough to be Royal Signals, but i cant make out their unit.

yes, there is a 1 UKADSR badge there so they may be 201.

Thanks for the help! I was mostly interested in knowing if they were Royal Engineers or not. Maybe it's just some clone of my buddy then...
