View Full Version : SEALs and direct action
From the beginnings of the War on Terror, we have seen some examples of direct action from SAS, and Special Forces. Looking back on Spec ops in 'nam (especially by SEAL team 1 & 2), do any of you think that SEALs are doin direct action like ambushes, raids, intelligence gathering for future ops, terrorism of enemy forces, etc. in the mid east? I understand that actions from any SPEC OPS unit is highly classified, and it would be hard for anyone to respond with solid info; however, i just wanted to see what you guys thought as to what SEALs would be doin in the mid east besides the obvious maritime stuff.

With your name I would think you would know more than anyone else when it comes to SQUEALS. Just because you dont hear about it dosent mean its not going down. The SQEALS used to be one of the lesser known SOF units in the world, that didnt mean they didnt exist they just kept to themselves and did their mission until the ego-maniacs come out.
