BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Three U.S. soldiers were killed Sunday when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb northwest of Baghdad, the U.S. command said. That brought the number of American troops killed in the Iraqi capital area over the weekend to eight.
The latest deaths occurred about 11:30 a.m., the command, without giving further details.
Five Americans soldiers died Saturday in bombings in the southern area of the capital.
All eight were assigned to the Army's Multinational Brigade-Baghdad which is responsible for security in Baghdad and surrounding areas.

What really pisses me off is that people are going to use their deaths to push their own personal agenda. It's f*cked up.

Goddamnit again those cowardly fc#ers i swear. I cannot help but get so pissed off when i see things like ied attacks and snipers and just cowardly things going on in iraq and elsewhere. I hate all the politics that always go along with war its like we are fighting a war with our hands tied behind our back. We are more than capable of dealing with these insurgents and bad guys but we have a certain standard that is expected of us in wartime and a certain rules to abide by that the enmey does not as long as it is this way things like this are gonna happen. They just need to let us go into these insurgent hotbeds and do what we do best . And thats kick ass I just wish all this would stop it breaks my heart everytime we loose another hero. And quite honsetly makes me wish i was still overthere in there place. "GOD BLESS AMERICA"

It's about a calculated and rational strategy to engage one's enemy in a way that will score maximum damage with little cost to themselves. In this instance, that strategy is assymetric warefare, not cowardice. People in Defence will dismiss these people as cowards at their own peril.
RIP to the fallen
