Is that an MG-34 on the ground? Or is it a 42 or MG-3 that has a different air cooling jacket (or whatever its called :) ) Or a new HK LMG?

it is a .30 Cal WW2 era machine gun!
Feel free to correct...

do you own these weaons, or are they from a gun club?

since when are we allowed to own such weapons? I'm assuming you are not a civilian.

The MG on the ground is a WW2 German MG-34, very nice weapon before the MG-42 arrived.

Cheers!
From what I understand they had a very good build quality (although they were difficult to mass produce, which led to the MG-42...), and were a true GPMG.

Gun laws in this country sometimes make no sense but here's a brief. Full auto and many semi-auto firearms like the G3, AK, Mp5, and many others are prohibited. The only way to have them is if you have Grandfathered status....ie, if you have had the firearm when they made them prohibited. For those that you are allowed to have, if it is a centerfire catridge, you are limited to a magazine limit of 5 rounds and the magazines have to be physically modified to only hold 5 rounds. If it is a blet fed, then that's a different matter. For all the info about the firearms act in Canada, it is best if you go here and look around. http://lois.justice.gc.ca/en/F-11.6/

This is a Sig 552 Commando, great gun to fire and when you fold in the stock, it's easy to control from the hip on full auto.

Yeah, it's a Stoner 63 LMG, looks like it has a belt box attached.
Man, I'd like to have a pop on the MG34, a truly classic machine gun.

Hey we had these 'militia' meetings up in grande prairie and these dudes were bringing out mp-5's ak's and we even fired an mg-3! :D
The owner came out with an mg-3 and an 50. BMG rifle (custom made) plus he had 4 500 round boxes of 7.62x51mm FMJ,Tracer, and incendiary. I have no idea how he got it but it's was a blast! I only had my M-66(10 round mag,22mm grenade launcher,11 inch folding bayonet :D ) I brang out all my mags which is like 12 in total! :P

Hmmm the praires forming a militia, do they armour up their tractor lol.
Ak, just curious about your M59/66, I have a few myself but they don't come with detachable mags, are you sure yours is mag feed, the Norinco version of the SKS has a detachable mag, the yugo M59/66 doesn't, but you could have a rare one for all I know.
