Just repeat the time honored phrase of "those bloody yanks!".
Works wonders.
Well you know, he has to protect himself from evil tiranny, or invasion by the Mexicans or Canucks...

NO its not scary at all. Except when it is misused, but then car wrecks are scary and claim a lot more lives every year than guns. The day when you Europeans, and I don't like to characterize and you all know that, understand that having guns and ammo in the US is a RIGHT the better off you will be.
Why do you think it is in there? B/c when we needed them to kick your asses off our continent in the 1770's they came in pretty damned handy.
Quit applying your European sensibilities to our second amendment. Obviously we don't agree on the matter - hell we've fought at least two wars to try and settle it. You lost, we got our continent and constitution and it has a right to bear arms.
Don't like it? Stay in Europe. If the emotion that prompts you to stay is fear then so be it.

Ain't history a bitch!!
After so many incident here in the UK where the loss of life was appaling,Hungerford and Dunblane(look them up)the Laws were changed here.
I'm astonished as well,200 rounds perhaps, but 2-3 thousand seems excessive, jesus H an Infantry soldier does not even go into battle with that much ammo.
I wonder what the scenario would be if someone broke into his house,he went for his rifles and ammo, but was overpowered,by his assailant who then stole these weapons and ammo and then went on a killing spree, that's a lot of people that can be killed with that amount of ammo.
Second ammendment or not, that's a serious amount of ammo within that house.
Second scenario........there's a fire within the house, having that much ammo cooking off puts the lives of the firefighters at risk.
Don't get me wrong I know places where they hold large amounts of ammo, but they're not residential homes.,but there is a huge gap between the UK and the USA when it comes to the Gun culture.
Here you cannot shoot at a person whether he's breaking the Law or not, you're the one who will go to Jail as well........maybe even for life.....ask your wife and family when they lose their home, their earnings and their figure head that it was worth it?

It was'nt so much the quanity of arms and ammo it was the thought he needed them to fight tyranny that was the worrying bit.
tend to get an image of someone wearing surplus BDUS and eating mres
if he'd said into practical shooting or something fair enough its the vauge paramilitary feel worried me next it will be pipe bombs :(

Its the rationale behind it. I have over a thousand rounds of ammo, because I got a screamin' deal on some cases and haven't had the time to burn it up yet.

Thats why I keep all my ammo in my underground shelter, 'cause thats where I'll be when the zombies come for me.

What's scarier is that we still have to read this kind of crap because God forbid someone get upset with your opinion...but someone at the opposite end of the spectrum gets banned.
Nice one mods.

You just swore.
You could be banned.

What did SS post besides his opinions?
He apparently PM's some kind of racial slur, but I don't know all the details on that.
He made a second account as an admitted joke.
Vance did that and he's still around.
Kingpin has broken forum rules as has just about everyone else. But SS's political stance falls just a little too far to the right of some people so lets ban him.
Whatever...

Guess what Sixgun did. If he was banned after his first violation & warning he wouldn't have survived 2 days.
Sixgun didn't post JUST his opinions, he also regularly threw in racial slurs, felt the need to country-bash (or should I say continent-bash?) in at least half of his posts, threw in the occasional hate-crap against people with other religions, blacks, gays, etc., felt the need to personally steer the general discussion forum down the gutter, and was using the general discussion forum as a platform for his personal campaign against Kerry.
The sick joke was just as sick as that of Vance, but unless Vance he didn't have innocent youth as an excuse (no offence Vance), and unlike Vance he didn't exactely have a 'clean record'.
And Sixgun's political stance wasn't exactely notably right, it was more like...notably looney. A lot of the crap he produced didn't have any thing to do with right-wing.

He PM'd me and called me a "nig*er lover",which kept it private, but then he went on to brag about it in Public.
It had nothing to do with his political views,he was a rascist, and his Anti Muslim rants were beyond a Joke.
He intentionally started topics with the sole purpose to stir the ****!
There were soo many Complaints against his remarks Hood acted IMHO correctly..........this is not www.Nazi's -r-us.com,it's Militaryphoto's ,I also think that this site has been seriously degraded by the extremist political views seen here in rescent months.....none of which had the remotest links to the Military!
Hood made the rules perfectly clear, and amended them several weeks ago,Multiple accounts coming to mind, Vance apologised Six Gun/Tommy Gun/Hawke did nothing of the sort
If you feel Sixgun has been treated unfairly take your arguments to Hood.............this is his site, and he banned him,I think Hood has this right don't you?
It got to the point that no matter who posted,it turned nasty, insulting, personal, with Nations and those who served in them with Pride were getting slammed for doing so,there have been quite a few warning issued to several people, the habitual offenders in particular.
This site last year was free from much of the crap that get's brought up today, the only ones getting humped were the French!
BTW, were Sixgun and Tommy Gunn the same or not?

With all respect, Argyll, you miss the point. Read the 2nd A - where is the weighing of danger v utility. its not there. May be a good point and even a rarionale for an amendment but not for not allowing ownership under the current wording of the amendment.
